My color is "shaded blue"

What??? I have been telling all my friends how I have a crush on the color orange. However, they have been questioning my passion for orange. Okay, so I don't wear orange and with all the changes we've been making in the house, I haven't been decorating with orange, other than some touches in my sewing room. But I'm a loyal reader of this blog and I've been buying some cool orange stuff (I'll share it in a future post). Still, I'm having a hard time convincing them. And now this!

I took this quiz, and after answering all their questions, and then picking three favorite colors, supposedly their "tie breaker," none of which was BLUE I might add, how could they possibly have decided that my rainbow color is "shaded blue." I don't believe it....

So what is YOUR color? Do tell.

P.S. I guess I should have included what this "shaded blue" stuff says about me, according to the quizzical people: "You appreciate friends who get along with one another. You share hobbies with friends and like trying to fit into their routines." Okay, well maybe there is some truth to it.

  1. Apparently, I am strongly shaded "yellow." "What is says about you: You are a joyful person. You appreciate optimism. You're good at getting people to like you."

    Hmmm.

  2. In the same fashion as "Ugly Item of the Week", inspired by Wiens World and "lists", inspired by Two Adults, One Brown Baby, I think you should start "Orange Item of the Week". Nothing like adapting other bloggers ideas to fit your own blog!!!

Sounds so good, now I wonder "am I really like that?"

  4. I can't believe I am finally commenting on my wife's blog. I give her a hard time for all her commenting but i wanted to see how this test worked. I took it and I am "Red": Freinds count on you for being honest and insightful, you get bored easilly, you appriciate energetic pople and friends who keep up with you. This is scary!

P.S. Winter or Summer? Give me a good Minnesota Blizzard any time over heat. Thanks Grandma G for the video and the pictures I get jealous.

  6. Uh. My rainbow is "strongly shaded violet and orange" (actually it's kind of ugly. Hmph.) "You are a strong person. You appreciate beauty and craftsmanship. Others are amazed at how you don't give up. You are patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it." Oh, OK, that sounds kind of good.

  7. My rainbow is "intensely shaded white, blue and brown." It's actually kind of dull and dreary-looking... but then, maybe I'm a dull, dreary person? ;-)

They say I'm "a contemplative person... I appreciate friends who get along with one another (well, don't we all?)... I share hobbies with friends and like trying to fit into their routines... I feel closer to people when I understand their imperfections." I guess it's pretty right on.

I'll keep working on making you jealous, "Anonymous"... maybe I'll get you two to move back here someday! ;-) Hey, we hit 51° today... after being below zero a couple nights this week. Gotta love the "land of infinite variety"! ;-)

  8. I am strongly shaded violet and red.

I am a creative person. I appreciate energetic people. I am patient and will keep trying to understand something until you've mastered it. I get bored easily and want friends who will keep up with you. (It seems that this may conflict with that patience though...hmm)
