I like it that playing with fabric can be so therapeutic and calming. I like it that you can move the colors around, give them new neighbors, and they still get along.
Don't you think this particular stack will have a good time playing with some scraps in a quilt called "Bottled Rainbows"? Just saying "bottled rainbows" out loud makes me smile.
Do you have some fabric therapy going on this weekend too?

I have lots of color therapy going on with Bottled Rainbows, too. Along side of therapy I find that I'm learning quite a bit about color and fabric. Some fabrics speak loud and clear and have obvious placement. Others have subtle nuance and many possibilities. Miss Luella
You finally got my curiosity up enough that I had to search and see what a "Bottled Rainbows" quilt is s'posed to look like. FUN!! Can't wait to see what you do with yours!
Wouldn't it be nice if PEOPLE could get along as well as fabric colors? The world would certainly be a happier place. ;)
What a gorgeous stack! Yes, fabric therapy is the best. The fabric-choosing step is hands down my favourite one of any project, so needless to say I have a lot of "future" projects all lined up.
Oh yes, I love fabric therapy too. Love that fun stack of solids you are playing with. I will probably be doing some creative homework over the weekend instead.
I've been eying bottled rainbows! I also bought some of those Konas. As I was enjoying working of them I though of how envious I am of your fantastic stack!
The fabrics are so pretty...are you using the exact colors suggested for the quilt? It is a tempting project! Today's favorite color for me and my grand daughter is violet. We had fun finding things that were violet as we drove along the road toward my house this afternoon...great color therapy!

I was arranging and rearranging stacks of solids today, too. Definitely therapeutic! I'm so trackin' with ya'!
I love all that colour! This weekend I've been going through my solids and shot cottons and deciding what I could make with them ... so many possibilities :)
I like that the stacked colors go so nicely with your new blog header. No sewing going on here this weekend, but I can live vicariously through watching what you are making!
