Since Farmer's Wife has decided to take a little break as she prepares for a country Christmas (at least, I assume that's what she is doing!), I thought it would be fun to join a blog hop and offer a little Christmas cheer of my own, a charm pack of "Jovial" by Basic Grey.
So if you are feeling jovial, let me know what your favorite holiday treat is. A special cookie made with an old family recipe? Fudge? Hot spiced cider? Do tell. The Random Number Generator elf will choose a winner on December 16 so you have plenty of time to
And don't forget to join the hop for a chance at some other festive treats.
ETA: Thanks for playing, everyone! Comments are now closed.

Our family come to dinner just for the twice baked potato's. Can't have them more then once a year as they are heart attack fodder.
I love favorite treat is sugar cookies, we don't seem to have them any other time of the year.

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas with out Peanut Butter Blossoms a peanut butter cookie with a chocolate kiss in the center.
I make really good peppermint sandwich cookies that have become a new favorite with family and friends!
My mothers Egg Nog, a little rum a lot of fresh whipped cream. Mmmmmmm! Thanks for the charm pack giveaway, you can never have too much fabric. ;->
Cream cheese pound cake. It is so rich and calorie laden I only make it at Christmas . Thanks for the give away
Pannetone. I like to make overnight french toast with it. Yum!
WOW - A country christmas. That sounds like fun. Special treat - a package of cream cheese, softened; a jar of chili sauce and i can tiny shrimp. Put cream cheese on bottom of a small glass oblong dish; Wash shrimp and add to chili sauce; spread over the cream cheese; serve with crackers or Frito corn chip. Enjoy
We all need fabic - it's what we live for. Thank you for making the Blog Hop so much fun. Hope you have a Merry Christmas.

I like to make Chocolate fudge with a fair bit of Bailey's thrown in. It is fun to eat, too
Spritz cookies and cappuccino flats...flat sliced coffee flavored cookies that we half dip in chocolate. I don't like coffee the rest of the year, but they are my favorite at Christmas! Thanks for the giveaway!

I make caramel every year and my nieces's help me wrap it. I also make caramel rolls for breakfast Christmas morning. Yum!

One favorite is not enough!
Our favorite Christmas cookie is M&M cookies. Take a basic Chocolate Chip recipe and replace the Chocolate Chips with M&M's. It's always a hit at my house :-)

my favorite treat(s) are all the delicious cookies that everyone bakes at christmas, although i do not like the extra weight i gain as a result!
thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!
My grandfather's recipe for fudge says "Christmas" to me. Mom used to make it with nuts in half of it, because I like mine without. Now, that says love!
My favorite treat is eggnog!!
My favorite food - it changes every time I pick :)
I think all things are better with cheese on them.
Depending on my mood - red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting ( a three layer cake with a green center for Christmas) - summer sausage with chunks of cheese - a home made freshly grilled hamburger - those little smokie weiners in BBQ sauce - beef brisket - and ANYTHING SWEET!
I hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS! :)

Thanks for the chance to win! I like chocolate peanut butter balls, which only ever make at Christmas time (or else everyone in my house would be much bigger)
Simple sugar cookies with sprinkles.
I love hot apple cider. I make it during the holidays in my crock pot and let it simmer all day. It fills the house with a wonderful aroma.
Thanks for a chance to win.
Thanks,
Peggy
