Really Random Thursday, 6/9/16

I wrote this post at the beginning of the week because yesterday I was doing a trunk show on the central coast of California, in Morro Bay. So if I encountered more randomness after this was written, well, you'll see it next week.

When Gabe and Ella are over for the morning, and it's not a gazillion degrees, as it often is in summer here in the valley, we like to have morning snacks on the porch of the storage shed Periwinkle Cottage.
I think Ella was telling Gabe a secret in this picture.
Charlotte and Levi had their spring orchestra concert. The quality of music that these grade school kids play is astounding to me. And I live vicariously. Because I always wanted to learn how to play the violin.
A summer night, with the sky borrowing the Pantone colors of the year: Rose Quartz and Serenity.
Saturday we celebrated Amelia's 2nd birthday at a local water park. It was hot.  But the water made it bearable.
She's adorable, right?
And I predict these two will come up with some interesting schemes adventures.
I saw some quilting ideas from the party plates
and this quilt, which Ruby insisted was a blanket. I tried to change her mind. She was pretty adamant that it was a blanket. I'm going to have to work on that....
How often do you see a VW actually painted like a lady bug?
Hope your week is a good one.

The photos of Ella and Gabe always make me smile. Such cuties. I definitely see a quilt in that striped paper plate. Very graphic and modern.

Funny about the ladybug! I park next to one every day at work! (actually not a VW, but a little red car decorated as a lady bug!)
