Tuesday the sky was full of huge fluffy clouds. If you are from the Midwest, you are probably used to skies that look like this. We mostly see icky grey smog so these skies were a treat.
The clouds turned the prettiest pink-peach when the sun was going down. However, there was too much stuff in the way to get a good picture. And this picture does not do the beauty of the clouds justice at all.
Our neighbor down the street had snow in his front yard, obviously from someone who had been up in the mountains. It didn't last long. And you do see all the blooming flowers in the background, right?
Yesterday the Sierra mountains (which we rarely see because of poor air quality) were showing off all the snow on their peaks, but again, I couldn't get a decent picture without telephone lines and street signs all over the place. :(
I entered these five quilts into the Best of the Valley show, held in April. Fingers crossed...

Good luck with the quilt entries. That must feel good to know you've passed the half-way mark on those treatments. Hope those are soon behind you for good!
The clouds have been absolutely glorious lately with these storms.
I hope the radiation is going okay for you without too many side effects.
Good luck with your entries. It will be fun to hear how they do.
Wonderful group of quilts Cindy. Good luck with the show. I had to laugh about the midwest sky comment because after living in Colorado for years now, my husband and I tend to remember the midwest skies as mostly a gray dome. I know that's not true all the time though. Glad you're half way done with your treatments. Hope you're feeling good too. Still praying for the best possible outcome.
Wow, you have some beautiful quilts going to that show!! Good luck!!! From my side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, they are showing off their white cloaks of winter, with beautiful puffy clouds against a blue sky...today!! This weekend, more snow is predicted!! Praying for you as you go through your radiation...sincerely hope it is finished with this round of treatment, never to return!
Love the message in your quilt. It resonates with me right now. Hope your treatment is going well. We had 12" of snow in Carson City with more coming this weekend. Beautiful skies when clear...like this morning. Love your clouds.
Big hugs your way, Cindy! Beautiful skies are a true gift! I agree with Anne, tho, lots of gray days in Indiana, love the brightness of the West!
The link in the email you just sent for Thursday, 2/14, is broken.
