Anyhoo, I need some help on a couple of these. Give me your suggestions on what these should be named and you are in the running for fabulous prizes.
Oh, and a disclaimer before we get started: don't even think about commenting on my photography. I already know the pictures are completely sucky. I did these on the fly just to get them posted. These are not the photos that will be going on the website. I'm looking for name suggestions, not photography critiques. Just wanted to clear that up. And, Aaron (our chief photographer), if you are reading this, I wanted to let everyone know that YOU were not the responsible party for these pictures. Now on to the good stuff.
Item #1: This gorgeous red bowl was slumped in a mold called "origami." So the shape is funky and fun. But "red origami" just isn't doing it for me.
Item #2: This bowl is so much greater in person (remember what I said about critiquing my photography, people). Deep chocolately brown with creamy swirls. I have two thoughts: fudge ripple or espresso with cream. Any other contenders or is one of these already a winner?
Item(s) 3: The glass on these 6" bowls has kind of a metallic look to it. The one on the left has a silvery cast to it, while the one on the right tends to look slightly more golden. A couple of weeks ago I had the perfect name. I'm sure of it. Didn't write it down, so it flew the coop. I want an "edgy" name. Something urban. However...urban oilslick, urban decay...those are just a little too edgy, and not very marketable. Ideas?
To get a chance at fabulous prizes, just leave a comment. If you become a follower of this blog, you will get a second chance to win. If you're already a follower, just leave a second comment saying "I'm a follower" and you will automatically get a second chance as well. The winner will be chosen by the ever-so-impartial random number generator, so you don't even have to come up with a winning name to be the winner. How easy is that? Comments end at 3 p.m. PDT on Monday, September 21.
And now for the fabulous prizes: your choice of either a pendant

For the red bowl I suggest Origami Red instead of red origami. It sounds kind of like a wine name or something.
Happy hundred & many more hundred posts to follow! Here are my suggestions:
#1 - Velvet ropes
#2 - Espresso with cream, definitely!
#3 - Hip to be Square
The red one looks kinda like a fruit roll up to me. Do they even make those anymore? I am exposing both my age and my junk food tendancies. Eeek! Espresso with cream for the second one. The third ones, Urban Planning. Because that is what I am reading about right now so it is in my head. or Urban Funk.
Here are the thoughts I had for names:
1) Manta Ray
2) Blue Ridge Mts
3) WAll Street
Piece 1: 'Vibrant Crimson' or 'Good Luck Origami' [chinese meaning for color red]
Piece 2: 'Chai Anxiety' [www.urbandictionary.com definition of feeling overwhelmed by the ridiculous number of options at the coffee shop]
Piece 3: Burning Envy
All are beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
I may be thinking of the upcoming holidays, but I'm thinking "Poinsettia Bowl" would be nice.
I'd also love to see some designs in gold & black, some vases, plates and/or platters, and pendants/jewelry.
Lovely,

Wow these are beautiful!
The red bowl makes me think of Desert Fire.
#2 bowl - Molten Lava
#3 bowls- Confetti
Wish I could have enlarged the pictures.
Thanks for a great giveaway!
I've always been terrible at naming things, so I probably won't be very helpful. But I do think "espresso with cream" is perfect!
Ok...here goes nothing!
1: Cherrigami
2: Galaxy (cause it kinda reminds me of the Milky way??)
3: La Brea
1. I see that someone else said what I was thinking, Cherry Origami, but I also like Origami Fire
2. I like espresso with cream
3. Urban Renewal.
Thanks!
The bowls are glorious and have a richness about them.
I would name the first one "Molten Lava" or " Lava Flow.
Creme de la Creme might work for the second
I love the funky ness of the last bowl- I might call it" All Squared Up"
Happy 100th post- It is a gorgeous pendant- I love the celtic of aboriginal design like shapes in the glass.
Someone will be a very fortunate winner of your giveaway.
Warmest regards,
Anna
1. Devils Eye
2. Fudgecicle
3. Yuppie Cast Offs
Ok so those are my ideas. Congrats on 100 posts.
All very nice bowls...
1. Enchanted Fire
2. Espresso with Cream
3. Urban Illusionz

Some really good ideas. Now that really cool red bowl with black makes me think of salami with pepper. Salami Origami - better yet, Salamigami. This brings in an international flavor - Italy + Japan. Besdies, salamigami is just darned fun to say.
#2. hmmmm. Mocha Vanilla Latte. Mocha Vanilla Swirl. (Chai Latte won't work). Fudge 'n Cream.
Fudge Brownie 'n Cream.
#3. Urban Chic. Urban Sparkle. Urban Lights (City Lights....??). Uptown Chic.
Hi Cindy,
this is my first time to your blog and I love it. So sign me up. It has taken me until you reach100 to get here!! Idea names are#1 Molten lava, #2 I like Espresso with cream but it looks more like Fudge ripple, which I also like. #3 Ink
1.) Hmmm in light of the football season starting how bout Red Wave?
2.)Why does it have to be espresso? Maybe coffe with cream? Take it back to basics?
3.)I like Oil Slick, it makes me think of those old mirrors. Maybe "80's heavy metal"
Hi Cindy,
Here are a couple of ideas (without looking at the other ideas, so I'm not copying):
1. Heatwave or Red Divine
2. Chocolate Swirl or Vanilla Chocolate Swirl
3. Urban Beauty
And, the beer bottle can also be used as a spoon rest on the stove!
Rachel =)
#1 - Lava Licious
#2 I like Espresso With Cream or Coffee With Cream. If you want it shortened, Creamed Espresso or Creamed Coffee. Chocolate Swirl is another idea.
#3 - On the Edge or Mystic Smog
