In the midst of all this reorganization, guess what I found? Some Amy Butler fabric from a couple of her early lines, now out of print: Temple Flowers and Gypsy Caravan.

I have some Kona cotton in "ash" on its way, a very light gray, and I'm thinking that might be the perfect background for these cheery florals.
What about you? Do you need some flowers to give you a little feeling of spring? I found a little over a yard of this piece of Temple Flowers, so guess what? I'm giving it away! A half-yard cut each to two people.
Leave a comment for one chance to win a half yard and tell me what ideas you have. If you want to increase your chances, become a follower, or let me know that you already follow this blog. I'll pick a winner on Wednesday morning.
In the meantime, I'm off to see what other forgotten fabric treasures may be buried around here...

I've never won a blog giveaway, but I'd love this to be my first!
Oh, I love this fabric! I am in the process of gathering some fabric for my 1st grandchild's crib bedding. I want to make a floral pieced quilt. Thanks for the chance to win.
One idea?? How about several.....? I think I might be able to eke a skirt out of a half-yard OR use it as flares in a solid skirt. hmmm, yeah, I like that idea. BUt who knows. You have to let fabric tell you what it wants to be. Enter me -please and thank you!!
very pretty...i would love to add that to a bag i want to make for my mom.
OOOOH, I do love the flower fabric! I'm planning a quilt made from a Kaffe jellyroll and I would love to fussy cut the flowers for the centers of each block. Perfection!
I would so love to win this! I love that fabric! I love the pattern also! Please count me in! I know just what you are talking about with rain--we have had a day of it with heavy, heavy rain and high winds! I hope that Spring is around the corner~~almost Groundhog Day!
I follow your blog. What pretty fabric! I would be torn - either putting it in a quilt for my daughter or as part of a dress for her!
Such pretty fabric. Your destashing is inspiring. We had a rainy day here too. I wanted to quilt but had to work on a presentation for Wednesday. Then I can quilt.
Would love to add this fabric to my Kaffe Fassett fabrics that are in my stash.
I love Amy Butler fabric. I actually just finished quilting a quilt that was all Amy Butlers. I follow your blog, it was one of my first to follow. I just started my own blog today.
Oh yes, I'm a follower! That lovely floral fabric would make a fun bag...of course I think any fabric would make a great bag!
We had rain rain rain here today too, and lots of wind and cold to go with it! I think I'd prefer snow!
MGM
I love that pattern! Actually though, I just drew up a pattern for myself and I think it actually has those colors in it. Maybe I'll actually make one of them! Or maybe baby gear? Depending on gender. It matches the walls in the baby's room.
Today we had rain and snow and wind and cold! A dreary day indeed. As for the fabric, a fun tote for my Norah.
I'm a follower...I've never won one of these before! It would be super cool:P
Oh Amy. I think she's the other love of my life...well her fabric. I vote for a deep maroon to set it off! Jewel tones are so in right now!
oh gorgeous - I have been saving Amy Butler flowers and want to make a quilt with all her different floral fabrics. What a fun giveaway - thanks for letting me know :-)
Fun fabric. I can think of several ways to use that fabric. Yumm.

beautiful beautiful fabric!!!
i am thinking of a bag- for my self for a change!
by the way i am having a giveaway on my blog
you are invited to enter
thanks!
and i am allready a follower
thanks!
I think this would make a stunning addition to sweet baby girl quilt! Oh, and I LoVe CitricSugar's idea to use it as an accent for a skirt - my youngest daughter LIVES in twirly-girly skirts!
I'd love to make it into a cute a-line skirt for summer, but being tall I'd need a complementary fabric as well for the hem or the waistline. I'd most likely use it in a spring quilted runner though.
Oh my goodness what a beautiful line of fabric. It would make a gorgeous bag or a very sweet little quilt. Thanks for entering me.
I have been reading your blog for a while, and now I am a follower :-)
I love making purses out of large scale prints. My daughters are always after me for a new bag. They like one to match every outfit! I may use this for a tea cozy though...it's such a happy piece to 'share' with a friend over a cup of tea!
Oh how pretty! I would incorporate this fabric into the pieced backing for my daughter's new bed quilt!
Jennifer :)
PS: I'm a new follower!
I love Amy Butler fabric!! I would make a camera strap and some fabric flowers and some cute hair clips.
I've been a follower ;)

I love your stash of some of my favorite old Amy Butler fabrics. I especially LOVED the Gypsy Caravan line. I also love Kate's charm bracelet pattern and want to make a couple in the near future.
Please don't enter me in the giveaway as I already own some of that now rare but lovely AB fabric. Such a generous giveaway.
Is it too late? I'd love to win! Love AB.
I'm a follower.
So cute!!
I really dont need anymore fabric after having my shelves break. But what a wonderful giveaway, I know people who have been searching for these rare prints.
Hely what do you mean make a quilt? Someone had pincusions to put in ther etsy shop for those of us who have been waiting :)
Oh my goodness! For a minute I thought you were giving away the whole bundle and all I could think was, NO!!!! Don't do it! You'll regret it. Whew! I was proud that I wasn't thinking, Give it to me!
So funny - I just recently started following your blog as I ran across it off of a link from the Modern Quilt Guild - and I too broke out my Gypsy Caravan stash a couple weeks ago. I LOVE the pattern that you chose for yours. I had actually started piecing mine years ago and wasn't pleased with how it was going so I put it aside and now I've revamped my original plan. I will post a link when I get my pics of it uploaded hopefully in a couple of days. I hope to be quilt-sandwiching tonight!
Have fun piecing those gorgeous fabrics!
And although I may be too late.... I'd use that half yard to bind my new quilt!
