This year my birthday is on Thursday. That's right. On Thanksgiving Day. Which guarantees that I will be spending nearly the whole day with those who are nearest and dearest to me. What a gift!
Were you a part of Blogger's Quilt Festival 2010? Did you post one of your quilts? Did you check out the other amazing festival quilts? What amazing talent out there in blogland. It's not too late. You can still spend some time getting inspired here.
Through a series of kind of weird events, I have an extra pincushion that I made specifically for Blogger's Quilt Festival 2010. Just leave a comment and let me know if you posted a quilt, if you checked out the other quilts, if you've never heard of Blogger's Quilt Festival, whatever. Time ends on Thursday, November 25, at 4:37 a.m. PDT.
I know. Weird time. But that's when I was born. Month, day and time. And that's as much info as you're getting about that topic...
I'll notify the winner on Friday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I have never heard of the Blogger's Quilt Festival, but thank you for bringing to my attention! I am always up for inspriration. I am just finishing a "Farmers Market" quilt for my father in time for Thanksgiving and cold weather!
ReplyDeleteNever heard of it, but since I have now I will be checking it out!

ReplyDeleteI checked out a bunch of them, but I think the most important part of my comment would be this: HAPPY BIRTHDAY from one November birthday to another! And, Happy Thanksgiving!!! My family usually "celebrates" my birthday on Thanksgiving anyway, since that's when the out-of-towners are here.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you should stick a candle in the turkey this year... haha!

ReplyDeleteThis was my first Blogger's Quilt Festival...I started blogging in July 2010 and I am having a blast! I have discovered so many wonderful blogs(including yours) and I am trying to use them for inspiration and hopefully a little productivity on my part. I have been slowing down the past few weeks on my blogging(busy life), but I am staying up-to-date with my blog reading : )

I love the pincushion by the way. I got to check out Kate's while I was in Sydney recently and it has such a lovely weight to it and I love all the selveges of course. I think I might have to put in a custom order :)
I have checked some quilts out though not as many as wished because of time (more than 600 entries!) I didn't post a quilt because have no blog.
