Here are the current WIPs:
First, working my way around the charity donation quilt, sewing on the binding (104 x 104 inches).
I have to be honest. I have become totally attached to this quilt and it's going to be hard letting it go, even though I know the proceeds are going to such a good cause.
Me: Can I keep it?
Mark: Nope.
Me: Even if we make a really generous contribution instead of donating the actual quilt?
Mark: Nope.
Don't jump to the conclusion that he is just being frugal. He is such a generous guy and I love that about him.And he'll be happy to let me bid on it, so I'll keep my bidding number handy, just in case.
And the current state of my design wall:
Yep, that about covers it.
I'm sure I'll find more inspiration to start a new project by checking out what everyone else is working on.

That DOES cover it! Ba dum dum *cymbal*! But seriously - I loooove seeing all those Farmer's Wife blocks on your design wall. Actually, everything there looks super cool.
ohhh, I wouldn't want to part with it either, really pretty, but good on your husband for reminding you of the good cause that you are doing.... good luck in the bidding though.
That charity quilt really really is a stunning quilt. I hope you win!!! :)
I love that quilt, and I am so jealous of your design wall!
Your design wall looks amazing! I love also all those colours your are quilting now!
I would be hard pushed to let that one go too... you've been on such a journey with it!
And I'm seriously jealous of your design wall. The farm is looking awesome!
Your design wall is amazing! One day I'll have a wall instead of the floor! LOL! Good luck bidding for the quilt - it's a beauty!
I'd want to keep the quilt as well, it looks stunning!
Fab design wall.
I wouldn't want to part with that quilt either!
Your design wall looks amazing.
I adore your design wall :) That's awesome that you're almost done with your charity quilt, that's fantastic! Good luck in your bidding, all of your projects are looking so amazing :)
Wow! What a busy design wall! I understand not wanting to part with it. The quilt our guild made for our raffle this year is COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY me and I want it so badly! Yours looks amazing!
I love your design wall. So colorful. Your charity quilts look lovely, too.
That's a design wall you can be proud of! Great work!
It's lovely, and if you love it, someone else will too and bid it up. What do you expect it might get? Here in Winnipeg, our quilts rarely get to four figures, so that's discouraged many quiltmakers from donating. My guild made a king sized black and white aqua quilt and we're trying to sell it for $1200 at MCC sales but no takers.
Superb-O! I loved seeing all the colors as you stitched around that gorgeous quilt. I hope it goes for bazillions in the bidding, but already your generous heart has given up much in the making.
Loved seeing the pin wall with the different sizes of blocks--the baby Farmer's Wife blocks and those gigantor Swoons. I'm loving big blocks again!

I can see why you are having a hard time letting go of that quilt. I have a friend who wants the Mennonites to hand quilt her quilts. But they only do that for quilts for their auctions (to raise money for humanitarian purposes). So, she donates the quilt top, they hand quilt it, she goes to the auction, and she buys her quilt back. Sometimes she has to bid pretty high, because she makes amazing quilts and her work is impeccable. She just chalks it up as the cost of the quilting. So, get your bidding number ready! :-)
Your charity quilt is fantastic and I love the little granny squares on your design wall. Of coarse, I also have been following the progress of your Farmer's Wife. Looking good my dear!
Such a beautiful quilt! I would have a hard time giving this one up too. Maybe you can make another one for yourself. (lol, I know, it was a lot of work) Just imagine how thrilled the recipient is going to be!
Your design wall really is packed full. Have you been doing anything else lately besides sewing and quilting? Glad to see all those treasures!
I'm going to cry when your quilt is sold. Maybe the new owner will let me come and look at it on occasion!
I hope you win it back!!!!
fabulous design wall. I hope your quilt for charity is much appreciated. Cheers
I love that you added that photo of your design wall - if that doesn't illustrate WIPs, I don't know what does! And what an impressive collection of the Farmer's Wife blocks - holy cow!!
Ooooh, look at your design wall! LOVE IT!! Wish I had someplace to put something like that up in my house.
No doubt the receipient will love the charity quilt! The quilting looks awesome! Wow! what a design wall, I love it!
Whew, that is quite the design wall full of projects. Not at all jealous of the size of it... much....
LOVE! I can see why you might be attached to that quilt! Wonderful, wonderful work. And the design wall is full of amazingness too. Awesome!
I love your design wall very good to see when you have stuff going on...its all looking beautiful, a question i have is when you started your farmers wife quilt how did you choose colors?
Holy wow! Are you ever doing a beautiful job of quilting it!!
I had no idea you'd done so many farmer's wife blocks. I mean, I knew you done a large number, but to see them all... wooooo! Love your swoon, too.
I'm pretty sure that is a design house not wall ;)
The quilt looks amazing!
Wow, the quilt you are working on quilting is beautiful! Your design wall is very impressive!
I couldn't let it go either...maybe you could make one to keep? I love your design wall and everything on it!
Wow, Cindy! That's quite a design wall you've got there! Everything's beautiful though! Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
