So for lack of a better name at this point, "Swooning with Oakshotts":
I'm going to have to work on my camera settings because the blocks in that picture look so flat. If you have seen shot cottons by Oakshott, you know that they practically glow because they are woven with two different colors. Just gorgeous.
and then when I decided to sew the right side to the wrong side. Anyway, each time it required spending a little quality time with my seam ripper.
I'm also working on some crocheted Lego blocks for this little Lego fan (I found the pattern here):
Linking up to WIP Wednesday. Thanks, Lee. I think you have me back on the road to weekly productivity.

Love love love the Swoon blocks. If they look this good in the photos, they must be gorgeous in person!
The Oakshotts are indeed fantabulous, as are your blocks.
I have never heard of shot cottons, but I am definitely interested. Your swoon blocks look incredible together! Looking forward to seeing it all come together. :)
I love the colours of the fabrics you have chosen for your Swoon...gorgeous!
It just goes to show you that you can still make boo boos after years of quilting. It still ticks me off every time I make a mistake though! lol
The Lego blocks are interesting!
I love both projects. Just ordered the Lego pattern. Just yesterday Simon and I were talking about how I don't make him too many things. He listed off his favorites. This blanket will be perfect for him. After I finish my donation afghan, then Norah's crochet fusion blanket, then I can start his Lego blanket. How fun, and portable.
Gorgeous swoon blocks!
Your quilt is going to be stunningly beautiful... as your donation quilts always are!
lovely blocks in great colours. is this for your MCC sale? I hope it raises lots of $$$.
The Swoon Quilt is going to be a stunning donation!!
Oooh! I do love the solid swoon on black!
I'm working on Swoon Blocks this week too. Looks great in solids!
Ohhhhhh, Oakshott Swoon! Now I'm swooning. This is exactly why I can't wait to make this pattern :-) Thanks for stopping by WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced!
It's going to be another beauty!
Those blocks are so striking! I just cant get over it! Love love love!
I know that seam ripper!!! Things look great
wow, your Swoon is looking AMAZING!!!!
The swoons look gorgeous and the Lego blocks are just so great - I like the Lego hat look ;)
I'm swooning over your oakshott blocks. You are cooking, my dear. Really cooking now!
E.
Loving your Oakshott marathon!
The Oakshotts are looking great, giggling at the new lego wear ;o)
love your swoon blocks!!!! the lego blocks are snazzy!
Haha, love your "oops" shots ;) And in spite of all that, the quilt is coming along beautifully!
oh a Swoon with oakshots!? Wowsers!
But at least you have a beautiful seam ripper, right? :-) How can I bid on your charity quilt? I love it!
