Really Random Thursday, 11/14/13

So I spent most of the week wishing these little men were actually helping me out. Have you ever noticed that sometimes new software versions, claiming to be "better," really make things totally worse? Yeah, that has been every work day since Friday until yesterday. But things are looking up.
In better news, I have thought of getting a quilt-related tattoo. Something small. However, our daughter-in-law, Christa, knowing that how much I love all things Pantone, sent me this little option.
I think I would like it better in orange or aqua...

In terms of bringing smiles to our faces, these three hung out for awhile the other night. We had a large "boy" area,
and a small "girl" area. It clearly was a matter of percentages: three boys to one girl. I was busy making a gourmet meal macaroni and cheese.
This arrived in the mail yesterday, a whole booklet with the details of our upcoming Disney Adventure.

Oh, and this arrived on my doorstep too. It kinda made me forget all my computer issues. Except I haven't had time to even plug it in yet...
Your turn.

Sorry to hear you were having computer problems, Cindy. Looks like everyone else was having plenty of fun though! You just have to share some details on the Juki once you get a chance to take her for a test drive. I am having serious harp space envy. What is the distance on your new friend?

I remember little of CA when I went when I was a kindergartner. I'd like Norah to remember more of a trip that special. So, in a few years, I dream of Disney - and would love the memories to be shared with a lot of Wienses.

I honestly think Disney was more fun as a parrent than it was as a kid. I can't even imagine how much better it would be as a grandparent.

I'm obsessing over Jukis now! Maybe I can give yours a test drive?

It will be so fun to do a family trip to Disney! I've been saving air miles so I can take EVERYONE there : ) I'm a wee bit jealous over here of that sewing machine. sigh.......

Plug in the Juki and sew! It's really very easy to set up and I was sewing within an hour of getting mine. it's the opposite of a new computer -- very easy to use. congrats on the new machine.

Fun to see that plans of your vacation are coming together--you'll have a grand time! And congrats on getting that Juki!! I can hardly wait to see what comes of that--even if it is just more satisfying quilting on your part.

Happy Random!

Seems like that Juki is on everyone's wish list! Myself included, although I can't seem to commit just yet. I think my current machine will have to die first. I hear you on computer troubles, we're struggling at work after an integration. Can't wait to see what tattoo you settle on, I've always thought a needle and thread was such a cute one. But no tatts for me!

My vote....go for the tattoo!! Love the new machine.

A new machine would definitely make the computer woes slip to the background.

I liked the roped off "boys" space! Cute.
