This is about the only thing that used to happen to my scraps. They would get dumped on the floor by these cuties (circa 2016) and then I would have to stuff them back into the bin because it was not nearly as fun as dumping them on the floor.
Well, as I mentioned last week, I went through my bin, sorted the scraps, and made my first pineapple block, using the foundation papers by Amber Johnson of @gigis_thimble.
I'm still up to date with the Riley Blake block of the week challenge.
Sundial designed by Christopher Thompson of @the_tattooed_quilter.
Scrappy Churn Dash designed by Sandy Gervais of (@gervaissandy
I began making two of the Asian Love Banners designed by Berene of @happysewlucky, but they are not far enough along to show yet. They will be completed for next week, as well as another Double Ruby Ring block.
Happy sewing.

Everything looks so pretty Cindy, except that scrap mess of course! I love everything you are making! Happy sewing!
such prettiness cindy, and love the scrapbusting grandbabies. xoxo
take care dear lady and good luck with your creations.
Wow! Is that what I have to look forward to with a grandchild? Not sure I'm ready for that kind of mess in my studio. Good for you being willing to let it happen. All your blocks look great. The pineapple one has soooo many pieces. Love the churn dash with the added piecing that shows off more prints. I'm finally back in my studio sewing and it feels good.
That pieced churn dash is wonderful. I've stalled out on the pineapple trying to pick a color theme (too many ideas for color seems to be a recurring problem for me). Your clever move to have some constants in there make those scraps work together beautifully.
Oh, that scrappy mess by the littles! It made me laugh (and I still love your bin that says oh, scrap!) Your pineapple block is looking good--it must be about 12 inches? Lots of use for those scraps. Love the blocks and am impressed you are keeping up with it all. You are quite disciplined!
