"To see the sun climb out of bed and reach out rosy fingers to pick up the dew drops from field and meadow..." had me choosing colors that reminded me of the rosy pinks and corals of a sunrise.
Country Path (#24)
"...to watch the joyous greeting of all nature, in the summer time, is worth more than silver and gold can buy." I imagined fields of flowers, rows of corn, with the green foliage interspersed among them.Silver Lane (#79)
Do you ever wake up early enough to enjoy the "rosy fingers" of a sunrise?

Oooooh! I LOVE these blocks! How fabulous! Your choice of colour is amazing!
I very rarely wake up that early but I have been known to stay up nattering all through the night and only realise how late/early it is when the sun rises
Beautiful blocks!! I am awake most mornings well before sunrise and have enjoyed some gorgeous colors.
Yes I do, I love to see the sun rise and set.
I love that you used solid fabrics, it really gives it a different feel from the originals.
Your blocks turned out so great, Cindy! Are you using the templates to make them? I like your philosophy of choosing the colors.
I love your use of shot cottons...the colors and textures are gorgeous!
Great color choices!!!
I love how you have chosen your colors. The sunrise is certainly a special time of the day - one I enjoy everyday.
Stunning Cindy! Really beautiful!
These are some of the prettiest FW blocks! I'm not much of a sunrise girl but I've been known to stop just about anywhere to watch the sun go down.
Jennifer :)
these are such wonderful colours, they look fantastic!
I love your blocks. The design of each one is accentuated with your fabrics.
Great fabrics great blocks - love them
By far my favourite blocks of this quilt-along!
Sadly, yes, all the time because I'm too lazy to make curtains for our east-facing bedroom of 11 years!!
Your quilt will be my absolute fav. I know already.
Your blocks are lovely, the solids look so nice.
Love your interpretations! Beautiful blocks!
These blocks are so cool looking! Seems like a fun project to be working on. About once or twice a month, I wake up early enough to see the rosy sky at sunrise, which is always a moment to cherish.
