Really Random Thursday, 6/13/13: Random Words

I returned from Kansas last week, and a day later our friends arrived from Minnesota with their three grandchildren. I can't really think of anything fabulous to write about, so here are some pictures that have been floating around in my photostream.

Seen outside a bar in Portland:
Place an order with photojojo. Even their invoice will make you smile. Plus they send you a complimentary plastic dinosaur:
True enough:
When parents put their children in the nursery at our church, they receive a little bracelet to wear which has a number corresponding to a number on a sign-up sheet. We live in a fairly large city, 500,000+. So imagine my surprise when I attended church with my friends last week in western Kansas, population about 3,500. Their kids have bar codes.
We drove up to Kings Canyon on Saturday with our Minnesota friends. Seen on a car in the parking lot. Not sure about this...
We had dinner at Bubba Gump's on Pier 39 in San Francisco. Seen on the walls there:
Our son can never accuse me of this

Our daughter-in-law, Christa, has been up in Portland attending the high school graduation of a student she had in her class when she taught 3rd grade. I had been texting her, so when I let Charlotte read her mommy's text, she wanted to answer. You have to love it when a first grader corrects her mother's punctuation, right?
Charlotte then wrote this on the blackboard in our laundry room. It was a fine way to end the day.
Your turn.
