I love to go to Barnes and Noble. I fear the demise of brick and mortar bookstores as they have so much to offer. Gabe already loves to go the bookstore and play with Thomas the Train,
and they send out coupons for Cheesecake Factory cupcakes when you have a birthday.
Levi started soccer,
and Mark spends his weekends reffing football.
It's pumpkin spice season
and this is how I justify a cube of real butter and a whole box of powdered sugar in a recipe--you balance it with sugar free cake mix and low fat cream cheese.
It's awkward when your motorcycle doesn't have a trunk for packages,
and this is for my "sister," Carla.
Your turn.
Mmmmm.... Yummy looking chocolate cupcake! Mmmmm.... Chocolate cake and powdered sugar - with real butter! Thanks for sharing your random chocolate week!
ReplyDeleteaww the kiddies look so cute and all those fun activities! I love those stripy ref outfits and I think October needs baking and yummy pumpkinness!
ReplyDeleteI keep going to book stores too because I never want them to go away! That pumpkin spice tea looks extremely good!
ReplyDeleteI'm signing up for my birthday cupcake!!!
ReplyDeleteoh, that first pix brings back memories of me taking my toddlers and preschoolers to the toy store to look at the trains. do you have to pull away little Gabe kicking and screaming because he doesn't want to go yet?
ReplyDeleteThat birthday cupcake looks like it is being enjoyed! Ahh yes, soccer season is here. I hope you have a comfortable chair packed in your trunk.
ReplyDeleteI often think the people in those Smart cars must have the same problem as that couple on the mortorcycle have.
SO random - and awesome! I agree about bookstores...I still love them!
ReplyDeleteJust came across your blog! Such fun projects! Thanks for the link party! :)
ReplyDeleteMy boys have always loved playing with Thomas at the bookstore too...though now the oldest two are too old for that. The youngest could still spend hours there, which is convenient when the rest of us want to wander and browse the books.
ReplyDeleteI love book shops and real books - so far I have resisted anything Kindle-esk, although hubby has 2!
ReplyDeleteha! I wouldn't go sugar free and reduced fat with the cake mix and cream cheese. why ruin the pound of butter?
ReplyDeletealso, love the cartoon. so funny.
happy Thursday, friend!
Thank you for the cartoon giggle. I am from Kansas City Missouri and I always have to explain that.
ReplyDeleteLOL! Good one! And most people don't realize there is actually a street that runs down the state line road, aptly named State Line Road. Driving north you are in Missouri, and south you are in Kansas! You better share that recipe, sister!
ReplyDeletePumpkin spice,,,hugh? Charlotte is getting so big. I love your random Thursdays!!!
