A couple months later, there was an opportunity to work with two beautiful fabric lines, Artisan Cottons by Another Point of View and Heavy Metals by Whistler Studios, both for Windham Fabrics. I knew these were the perfect fabrics for Pattern Play.
Some blocks were easy.
Quite a few had a higher degree of difficulty.
fabulous fabric, also by Windham, for the backing. The bonus? It is 108" wide so there was no need for any seams on the back! Which was a good thing, because by then I was completely over trying to figure anything out!
I'm so happy with how the quilt turned out. The fabrics are rich in color, and the two lines, Artisan Cottons and Heavy Metals, play so well together. I think Pattern Play is the perfect name, don't you?
