I have almost all of my swap hexies made and they will be ready to go into the mail on Monday.
I worked on them outside this afternoon:
And this was my view:
I carefully put them back in their cute little box:
And the next thing I knew, they had jumped out to pose next to this piece of driftwood.
I'm pretty sure the little owl was the ringleader. So if you find a grain of sand, just dust it off...
What a great day!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love to work outside, too! And what a nice view you had! I'm constantly dragging my sewing machine, etc., etc., out onto my deck to work under the shade of the umbrella! Imagine your little owl - he likes to be next to nature, too! Wise little guy! Love your box, too, from the other day's post.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic setting to be, no matter what you're doing! But to be working on such lovely hexagons too makes for a perfect day!
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting to hear about Charlotte. ;)
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful view!! I adore your hex tin, and all your cute hexes.
ReplyDeleteThose hexies are such posers! What a fantastic view. Can I come for a visit?
ReplyDeleteI would love to sit outside and sew! But if I did, my little hexies would be flying to Nebraska in the wind. I'm really not that dedicated a quilter! If I was where you are, I'd ditch the hexies and go boating! Have a great time! Janice
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I love the idea of working outside *sigh*... maybe when fall comes. Such a wonderful view! I hope you are having a great time!
ReplyDeleteJennifer :)
Oh, you scared me! I thought you were going to say they fell overboard! Great hexies!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time! I'm only slightly jealous. :-)
