So here they are. Pictures of Colorbox. Pictures do not do this quilt justice. At least not
my pictures!
The one thing I always do is have my charity donation quilts
professionally photographed. That doesn't happen until March 8.
Then and only then will there be some decent pictures. Until then, the quilt blocks, one by one. And remember, the blocks really
are square. It is just my poor un-Photoshopped photography that makes them look kinda wonky. The important thing is to pay attention to the
quilting!

Row 2
Row 3
My socks (from my best friend) look particularly awesome with this block!
Row 4
Do you have a favorite? I can't decide. Like children, I love them each equally, but for different reasons.
And because it IS "really random Thursday," something on my bucket list: to ride on a Zamboni:
I'm leaving today for a weekend quilting retreat in the mountains. Last year there was nothing but sheet ice--treacherous! This year, up to 72 degrees and sunny. Go figure.
Farmer's Wife Friday will still be up and running tomorrow. Even though I won't be anywhere close to a computer. Technology--don't you love it?!

Beautiful....I love, love the colors you chose.
The quilting is fab on all of them, like how each block has the piecing highlighted with something different.
Have a blast at your retreat :o)
Absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see the full pictures!!
very nice blocks! the red one really catches my eye. :)
Stunning quilting - it really enhances your piecing and fabric choices!
Beautiful! Do you choose the quilting for it, or does Ione? Impossible to choose a favorite, although my eyes do lean toward the blues/greens. :)
Have a great weekend away! I think you need one.
THose blocks are so huge!!! The quilting looks fabulous. You're so generous, Cindy. Well done.
Have a spectacular weekend!
You'll just have to come to Vancouver, we have a lot more Zamboni's here than you do in CA, I'm sure.
Beautiful!
They are all beautiful, but the lighter orange one is my fave xxx
What a beautiful quilt. And you are right, your socks do look awesome with that block.
They're beautiful.
And I want to drive a zamboni. There's a song entitled just that. "I wanna drive the Zamboni." Ah, goals.
Beautiful! And, the quilting is amazing!
Truly delightful. I LOVE the tiny-crazy-quilt portion of each block. LOVE the look of this entire quilt, and the detail-work on the quilting is lovely.
oh wow - so incredible! Can't wait to see the whole thing together!
A Zamboni ride? Really? I'm beginning to think you're secretly Canadian.
Beautiful! I love all the quilting, and of course, the quilt! Fun to see it in detail. I hope you have fun on your retreat--give me a call when you return (did you get my message from last week?).
E.
I found your blog from the Superior thread giveaway and saw the beautiful colored quilt blocks...but you won me over with the Zamboni ride on your bucket list! LOL! It's on mine too! :)
