WIP Wednesday, 10/31/12

Ordinarily I would complain that it is Halloween and supposed to be 79 degrees tonight. However, that is just a temperature, of no consequence whatsoever. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone even remotely touched by Superstorm Sandy.

It seems like I am still consumed by DIY projects, some of which will be revealed tomorrow, because they are kind of random (and also include an epic fail).

Other than that, I have been knitting, and all my Azekura knitted log cabin blocks are done. Now to figure out how to sash them and turn them into an afghan.

And I'm nearly done with the wedding present for two dear friends, full reveal on Friday.
I'm linking to Lee at Freshly Pieced.

I can't wait to see both projects when they're finished! I would gladly trade you the 79 degree weather for the 40s we'll be having. I love my husband and I'd feel bad at sending him out with three kids all by himself, but all I want to do tomorrow is huddle under a blanket and wait for spring. :0)

As everyone else, me too - I love your knitted log cabins! I have been knitting so much and never tried those. They look so beautiful and will make the most wonderful afghan! x Teje

I'll take that 79 degrees and trade you 33 and raining. Poor kids have to wear their winter coats over their costumes! Look forward to your big reveal of the sneak peak photo - looks intriguing (sp?).

P.S. I'm tired of the heat, too. I think we'll have fall weather by the weekend, and hopefully I'll be out of bed and feeling better then too.

The log cabin squares are gorgeous. I'll be looking forward to the reveal!
