I was shocked this morning when I opened up my email and there was a note from Amy saying my block had come in 2nd place in her contest, with cool prizes! The judges were the illustrious Kerry from verykerryberry and Ayumi from pinkpenguin, which made it even sweeter.
The first place winner, made by Laurraine, was absolutely phenomenal (read about how she made the block--it's really fun). Take some time to note all the detail in this block. And then remember that it is only 12 inches square!
And Kristy's block was also completely amazing How could I not fall in love with that selvage bookmark??
Stiff competition...I'm thrilled to have landed in 2nd place! I also want to thank the sponsors who generously donated great prizes for the 2nd place winner. I'll have a lot of fun with these.
Yay! That is wonderful! Congrats! Well-deserved!
