From Top Ten to Second Place!

I was shocked this morning when I opened up my email and there was a note from Amy saying my block had come in 2nd place in her contest, with cool prizes! The judges were the illustrious Kerry from verykerryberry and Ayumi from pinkpenguin, which made it even sweeter.
The first place winner, made by Laurraine, was absolutely phenomenal (read about how she made the block--it's really fun). Take some time to note all the detail in this block. And then remember that it is only 12 inches square!
And Kristy's block was also completely amazing How could I not fall in love with that selvage bookmark??
Stiff competition...I'm thrilled to have landed in 2nd place!  I also want to thank the sponsors who generously donated great prizes for the 2nd place winner. I'll have a lot of fun with these.

700yh follower just had to do it when I saw the 699. I read about the Testing while sewing earlier in the evening (DOWNUNDER time) then was on Peas in a Pod and told to come over.
So congratulations, agree the first prize is fantastic

Congrats! I've got a stash of word prints collecting as I try to refine my concept for a wordy quilt. One of these days.

Because I'm going backwards, I'm like--wait!! Where's your block?? This is why I hate my job. I'm missing out on ALL the fun.

Okay, going backwards now--I'll find it, I know I will.
