It's hot.
Did I mention HOT?
So I've done nothing but catch up on a couple of bee blocks.
I stay inside. Because it's hot. Or sometimes because of this...
And when I go to church I adhere to this. Love the comment: "And all God's introverts said amen."
Try to stay cool, my friends.
Amen.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, how true! Many years ago, when I was a young married, we attended a church where some of the "older" fellows thought it was cool to give chesty hugs. I soon learned to side step them, and like you said, avoid the hugs from church greeters I DID know ;-)
ReplyDeleteUgh the heat is killing me! And I am totally withyou about the people. Happy air conditioning!
ReplyDeletehahah! "Too Peopley" YES! That's a perfect descriptor...
ReplyDeleteWe are hot here too! I'm finally warm 😊 Enjoy your stitching
ReplyDeleteThose church hugs are a real "American" thing, I think- it doesn't happen here. Sending some cool thoughts and breezes your way from a cool and cloudy Melbourne!
ReplyDeleteI love it when it's hot and humid here too because I don't feel guilty about staying inside! I'm looking forward to catching up on bee blocks at our retreat next month, especially since I need help with the paper-pieced blocks everyone else seems to love to make ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, Cindy. Love the daily temperature forecast.
ReplyDeleteHaha love these posts - you make me feel normal!
ReplyDeleteCindy, this one really made me laugh. Love it!!
