Some of the things I've been working on lately include Double Ruby Ring blocks.
They look so beautiful together.
My plan is to use them as the first border around this Radiant Star block.
I made two Juniper baskets (pattern by Svetlana Sotak), one for Stacie's birthday and one for Charlotte.Stacie's was the first item to get my new cork label. And I no longer fear installing an inset zipper.
Up next were two rope baskets, with rope from The Mountain Thread Company, which I highly recommend. I have purchased kits from them, and as a Mother's Day present, finally purchased a large spool of rope for future projects.
I'm still working at getting the base flat and more consistent sides.
Next up, the Haralson bag by Noodlehead. This was the first time I have installed a twist lock and it was a lot easier than I anticipated, thanks completely to excellent videos by Anna aka Noodlehead.
Sew...that's what has been going on here. What are you working on?

The cork labels look great. And I love the Double Ruby Ring blocks; the stripe fabrics in the center are a great choice. I haven't done much in a week as I tested positive for COVID (the first time, and ugh, it has not been fun). I'm starting to get a bit stir crazy, but I don't want to overdo things and not fully recover.
Wow, you've been a busy lady. The blocks look fantastic and will be such a beautiful border around the centre star on your quilt.
I love all of the bags you've made (especially the fussy cut Australia).
Such a lot of beautiful sewing going on. I love the rope baskets, but I am afraid to sew something like that on my machine. The center star of your quilt is amazing! What color!
my oh my cindy, you do pack a punch with your posts. your creativity is contagious and love that instagram post featuring your name and work. have a most wonderful day dear lady and don't forget to stretch once in awhile!!!
I'm totally in love with the colors of your blocks. I have a bundle of Kaffe wovens in stripes and solids that have a similar vibe and I even know what I want to make with them. I just haven't made it a priority. Perhaps it's time. Lovely bags too. Something I'm never motivated to make. Have a great weekend.
You have sure been tackling a lot of projects lately! Your Double Ruby Ring blocks are gorgeous. I'm thinking that's a striped print in the middle of each block, giving the impression you've done some extra piecing... is that right? Baskets - sewn and roped - are really nice too. I've managed to avoid sewing rope baskets so far, being unable to imagine where I'd use one since we have so few table/shelf surfaces. Though, it's apparent you're having fun sewing with rope! Your Haralson bag intrigues me. I wonder whether that bag might be good for gift-giving. I'm "noodl(head)ing" on it. Ha, ha.
I just want you to know we all look like slackers compared to you. Such a fun array of sewing, from the beautiful Double Ruby Ring blocks, to the baskets, the Haralson bag and the rope baskets. You are keeping your sewing room humming along with your projects. Bravo for launching your summer in productivity and beauty. After reading Linda's comment, I went back and looked at the centers--love the use of those stripes!
