I went to my local quilt shop for this
because the consensus of the color for my big stitch needle on the bottom border is grey, not brown. And I wanted to try No. 24 chenille needles as recommended by Kate Conklin in her recent tutorial.
How did I end up walking out of the store with all of this as well?
Does that ever happen to you too?

LOL!! Actually, no, it doesn't. But then, if I HAD a local quilt shop or fabric store......
;)
Do you think my verification word has any significance:
"nyersucr"
???
;)))))))
Well done!! I think are showing moderation! Hee hee!
Deb.R.
I can't stand typos. I think YOU are..........dr
Does that EVER happen to me?? How about it ALWAYS happens to me!
In fact, it happened yesterday. Two spools of thread turned into . . . well, a lot more than thread!!
All the time! I went to a quilt shop to pick up a block and came out $135 poorer. All the time!!!!
Ha Ha YES! I went in for the same thing as you earlier this week! It was my first time in the store. I knew nothing about the store. It ended up being a low quality fabric store but their prices were ridiculously cheap. I left with a huge bag of things and spent around $30. One item alone would have cost that anywhere else.

Nope, never. Uh uh not me. Nope. ;)
(Nice haul!)
ahahahaha.....ALL THE TIME!!! xxx
I wish I could say that it never happens to me ... but it happened just this past week, oops!
Love what you walked away with though :)
It happens to me all the time (unless the kids are with me and then I tend to get out of there as quick as possible!)
I love the colour of that thread! It's going to be gorgeous. Thanks for the link :)
All the time!!! I work at my favortie local fabric store and I can't seem to leave without a whole new bag of fabric. I love hand quilting with perle...another option for needles are the Piecemaker Embroidery Needles size 5...or the Fons and Porter Utility Quilting Needles size 5 (12 per pack plus a grabby circle in case you can't pull the needle through) The Fons an Porter are made specifically for #8 Perle cotton!!! Have fun!
Not anymore! I have been humbled to purchase only the cheapest options on my short list in any store I venture into. AND, I have walked out of many tempting situations with no purchase in hand. My mantra of "use what I have" is actually working! It is beginning to feel okay!
I hate it (and love it) when that happens! Love your new additions to your stash! Looks like you picked up some great basics to go with lots of other fabrics.
I happens ALL the time at Target. Need deoderant and laundry detergent? Leave with diapers, a frame, new pants, jammies for Iris and nothing at all on my original list.
T doesn't even bother to hassle me about it anymore--it was a losing battle. : )
My daughter's wedding is orange and grey..... so there!!
LOL! Awesome color combo!
