When at quilt market last month,
Carla,
Linda and I passed the
Tutto booth. I have looked at their rolling travel cases for sewing machines before. And after taking my Featherweight to Minnesota last year in a case that I did NOT like, this case was looking even better to me.
And the best part: It comes in orange!
Okay, that isn't really the best part. The best part was their quilt market offer: buy three, get them at wholesale price, no tax, and they would be shipped after the show.
After some
arm twisting friendly conversation with my awesome friends, we each saw the need to purchase a Tutto.
Mine arrived today. Isn't it pretty?
I'm getting ready to go to my friend's cabin near Yosemite this weekend for nonstop sewing so it will get a good testing before I take it to Minnesota next month.
Have I ever mentioned that we only eat two meals a day at the cabin? Although it is necessary to have some mid afternoon "snacks"--sustenance for all that sewing...
Which probably means I won't be attempting this:

I think those bags look nice. I have one of the older model rolling totes (with the tapestry fabric) for my big machine. It is very useful when going to class, etc. :-)
Loving the orange! Have a great sewing getaway.
Great looking bag! I'm curious- which two meals do you eat- breakfast and dinner???
Very cool new toy! Is it only two meals because all the grazing really means it's all one big food fest? ;o)
I've actually sat on mine! That's one of the bag's coolest features. And you'll never loose an orange bag amidst the sea of black ones.
Great bag!
Looks like a great bag special for your sewing machine. You can tell a person travels a lot with their sewing machine when they have a special bag for it. Can't wait to see it in person in less than a month!
haha, enjoy that new bag and your retreat weekend! You've got quite a retreat line up for 2012 - I'm thinking your bag may just need replacing by next spring market after all that travel.
Non-stop sewing in Yosemite! Sounds like Heaven! Janice
Yay! I'm glad to hear your Tutto arrived. I hope that means Carla will be getting ours soon. Perfect timing. We're heading to Kansas City on Sunday! Have a wonderful time testing your Tutto on retreat. We all LOVE a good retreat. Enjoy!
Oh, I'm so glad that yours has arrived....I was starting to worry a bit. I'll be keeping my eyes open for my aqua
bag! Between your Totto and Amy Butler overnight, you will be traveling in style, girl!
Very nice! Totally jealous. ;-)
Have fun in Minnesota!
